Special Interest Groups (SIGs)

AAA Special Interest Groups (SIGs)

AAA has created several focused initiatives to provide Alliancing stakeholders the opportunity to discuss topics and enjoy content more particularly relevant to their context among peers and/or people of similar interest.

The objective is to provide a vehicle to share each group's specific experiences, collectively identify and discuss trends which affect their role and responsibilities or develop new practices in Alliancing and collaborative contracting more relevant to their areas of interest.

The Collaborative Project Management  (CPM) Zone is a space dedicated to the needs of Project Managers who wish to develop their capabilities and job performance as managers of Alliances and collaborative engagements.

The CPM Zone provides background information, supporting research papers,  a profile of skills, experiences and attributes that are critical to the development of collaborative management capabilities and tips or guidelines on where and how to develop these skills.

The CPM Zone is intended to be an interactive platform providing the opportunity for personal contributions from practitioners adding context, comments, tips and references which they believe would help other colleagues develop their collaborative management capabilities.

ALT Logo

Formed in 2011, a SIG of ALT colleagues organising events that provide an opportunity to discuss and share from past and current ALT involvements as a guide to enhancing the productivity of future ALT teams in Alliancing engagements. The events gather past and current ALT representatives to share lessons on the workings of an ALT, generate discussions on what can be done to enhance the ALT's impact on Alliancing success, sharing knowledge to drive a productive future dynamic.
